No, you don’t need a Gi for your first day. For your free trial class, you can just wear comfortable workout clothes like a t-shirt and shorts or leggings. If you decide to join, we’ll guide you on how to get the proper gear.
Not at all! Most of our adult students start with zero experience. Our program is beginner-friendly, and we focus on the basic fundamentals first to ensure you feel comfortable and safe on the mats from day one.
You are never too old to start BJJ! Our classes are a great way to get back into shape at your own pace. We have students of all ages and fitness levels, and our coaches ensure the training is adjusted to your current physical ability.
Safety is our top priority. We promote an ego-free environment where teammates look out for one another. Sparring is controlled and supervised by coaches to minimize the risk of injury, so you can train hard and still be ready for work the next morning.
Our adult classes typically last 60 minutes. This includes a functional warm-up, technical instruction where you learn specific moves, and ends with supervised live rolling (sparring) to apply what you’ve learned.
